The results of the 48th (Special) Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination have been published.

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) published the results on Sunday (July 20) night.


A total of 5,206 candidates have successfully passed the multiple-choice question (MCQ) examination for the special 48th BCS, which is intended for the recruitment of doctors.

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced that these candidates are now eligible to participate in the viva for the positions of assistant surgeon and assistant dental surgeons.

Following the oral examination, 3,000 of these candidates will be granted the opportunity to enter government service as doctors.

Based on the findings, 4,695 candidates have successfully qualified for the position of assistant surgeon, whereas 511 candidates have qualified for the role of assistant dental surgeon in the MCQ examination.

On the previous Friday, the commission conducted a 200-mark MCQ test for a total of 41,025 candidates.
